You can probably guess what I'm going to say.

Unfortunately, I am dropping out of the Project 365.

During the last week of March, I think there were only one or two days where I took pictures. We were also busy finishing some home improvements and preparing for Leah's birthday that the camera was often the last thing on my mind.

Ah well. It was fun while it lasted! The project certainly helped me learn more about my new camera.

Leah & I attended the first birthday party of Gigi's Cupcakes, our favorite cupcake shop in town! Leah got a Miss Princess cupcake and I got a free t-shirt along with some discounts on future purchases. Found out this morning that I won a bigger prize in their raffle: a free family photo session with a local photographer! So exciting!!!

My new favorite drink: the Green Monster Smoothie. It consists of 1 frozen banana (or regular banana & ice cubes), 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1 cup milk, and as much fresh spinach as you want to pack into the blender! Awesome, awesome way to get extra veggie servings without even tasting them. I've had one every single day this week!

I picked this up at Hobby Lobby (seriously love that store). I love the rustic, country look to it and the fact that it's blue and matches my kitchen. They were sold in a few different shades and though I first saw them earlier in the month, I didn't buy one. Yesterday, I noticed this was the last blue one left so I snatched it up and I'm happy I did. :)

I was playing around with a setting that blurs the top & bottom of the photo. I don't know if I'm thrilled with this, but oh well. I like the buds already sprouting!

Action shot! This girl moves so quickly that a lot of my mid-action shots end up blurry. But I used a special setting on my camera that snaps a few photos in quick succession. It worked! I will be using this setting a lot more, I'm sure.

We did some hiking at the Botanical Gardens. I really wanted a nice photo of Dan & Leah, but of course she wouldn't cooperate. Still, my hubby looks good. :) We also wandered around a local nursery afterward, where there were bunches of beautiful camellias. This one may simply be the most perfectly shaped flower I've ever seen!

My husband surprised me BIG time on this day. Without telling me, he took the day off work and made me a hair appointment. Would not tell me any other details except that he wanted me to see myself how he sees me. Next stop was a large mall, where I was instructed to purchase a dress. After all this, he took me to a photographer's studio for a glamorous photo shoot! I was super nervous but it ended up being an amazing experience that left me feeling strong, confident, and beautiful. I am so grateful for the romantic man that I married. :)

So, yeah, I didn't personally take any photos that day, but I was the subject of them, which I feel is good enough. ;) These are a few of my favorites:
